Candy was a 2-year-old German Shepherd Mix at BARC Houston, described by her networkers as a sweet, loving girl who was becoming overwhelmed at the shelter. Eight people tried to help her, pledging $424 toward her rescue, but she didn't make it out. Her loss was reported on October 16, 2026 by the original poster.
