Rover was a 7-year-old Alaskan Husky Mix who came to BARC Houston after an elderly person could no longer care for him. Networkers described him as a sweet, easily handled boy who greeted staff with a wagging tail and open-mouth smile. Twenty-one people who tried to help pledged $505 toward his rescue, but he didn't make it out. His loss was reported by u/BanditY77 on October 16, 2026.
