John, a three-year-old Labrador Retriever Mix, was a shy, sweet boy who walked great on his leash and loved his treats. Networkers described him as struggling to adapt to the shelter but trying his hardest to find a loving home. Two people who tried to help pledged $45 toward his rescue. He lost his life at BARC Houston, and his loss was reported by u/fugueink in the 8/19 list update.
