Ophelia, a four-year-old GSD mix, was a stray who arrived at BARC in Houston overwhelmed and frightened by the shelter environment. Networkers described her as terrified in a strange place, acting out of fear. Fifteen people who tried to help pledged $655 toward her rescue, but she didn't make it out. Her loss was reported by u/fugueink in the August 13 BARC list update.
