Shadow, an eight-month-old Labrador Retriever mix, was an owner-surrendered pup at BARC in Houston who was described as terrified, making himself as small as possible. Fifteen people who tried to help pledged $470 toward his rescue. He didn't make it out, and his loss was reported by u/fugueink in the August 14 BARC list update.
