Chica, a 7-year-old Cane Corso mix, was on the euthanasia list at BARC in Houston, TX, where she was extended one extra day after a rescue tag fell through. Three people pledged $275 to help her find safety. Networkers described her as a "gentle giant" and a funny girl volunteers loved. She didn't make it out, and her loss was reported by u/fugueink in the August 11 list update.
