Balto, a 4-year-old Alaskan Husky mix, was a strikingly handsome dog who networkers described as friendly, happy, affectionate, wiggly, easy going, and sweet. He was on the euthanasia list at BARC in Houston, Texas, and despite efforts by volunteers to share his story across social media, he didn't make it out. His loss was reported by u/fugueink in the August 1st BARC list update.
