Ralphie was a three-year-old Staffie mix at BARC in Houston who arrived as a stray on July 24 and was listed for euthanasia just days later. Networkers described him as a terrified young dog suffering from shelter stress who deserved a chance. Seven people pledged $150 to help him, but Ralphie didn't make it out. His loss was reported by u/fugueink in the July 28 BARC list update.
