Maverick, a 6-year-old Staffordshire Mix, was a calm and gentle presence at BARC in Houston. Shelter staff described him as easy to handle, with a relaxed demeanor and a wagging tail. Two people pledged $25 to help him find a way out, but he didn't make it. His loss was reported by u/fugueink in the July 25 list update.
