Lola, a 1½-year-old American Staffordshire mix, was terrified at BARC in Houston, where staff found her cowering in her kennel with a tucked tail and whale eyes. Networkers described her as fearful, not aggressive, and in need of a patient rescue to help her feel safe. Two people who tried to help pledged $40 toward her care. Lola didn't make it out; her loss was reported by u/fugueink in the July 25 BARC list update.
