Walter, a 2-year-old Staffie mix, lost his life at BARC Houston. Networkers described him as a friendly, happy boy who loved people and greeted everyone with a wiggly body, wagging tail, and big smile. Fifteen people tried to help, pledging $375 toward his rescue. He was reported among the dogs who didn't make it out in u/fugueink's July 24 list update.
