Sylvester was a one-week-old Labrador Retriever mix puppy at BARC in Houston. He was one of thirteen tiny pups in Serena's litter, and 24 people pledged $1,857 to try to help the family find rescue. Sylvester didn't make it out; his loss was reported by u/fugueink in the BARC 7/20 list update.
