Cruz was a 10-year-old Staffie mix who lost her life at BARC in Houston, TX on July 15, 2026. Networkers described her as calm, relaxed, and wonderful to walk, a senior girl who had been used as a breeding machine before being dumped at the shelter. Twenty-four people who tried to help pledged $720 toward her rescue. Her loss was reported by u/fugueink in the BARC 7/15 List Update.
