Pretzel, a 3-year-old Staffordshire Mix, was abandoned and stressed at BARC Houston, where networkers described him as needing a calm place to decompress. Four people who tried to help pledged $55 toward his rescue, but he didn't make it out. He lost his life at BARC, reported by u/fugueink in the 7/13 list update.
