Niko, a two-year-old Staffie mix, was a gentle, affectionate boy who loved toys and greeted handlers with a wagging tail and soft smile. He came to BARC in Houston, TX after being confiscated when his owner was arrested, and spent more than three weeks in the shelter before losing his life there on July 10.
