Patas, a one-year-old Great Dane mix, was brought to BARC in Houston as an owner euthanasia request and didn't make it out. Networkers described him as terrified in the shelter and needing a safe space and love. Three people who tried to help pledged a total of $45 toward his rescue. His loss was reported by u/fugueink in the July 10 BARC list update.
