Gigi, a 2-year-old Staffordshire Mix, lost her life at BARC in Houston, TX. Networkers described her as a sweet, affectionate girl who went from fearful to friendly, greeting handlers with a wagging tail and open-mouth smile. Eight people who tried to help pledged $270 toward her rescue. Her loss was reported by u/fugueink in the July 10 BARC List Update.
