Papaya, a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix, was at BARC Houston when she was scheduled for euthanasia on July 8. Networkers shared her widely, calling her a stunning girl, and three people pledged $70 to help her. She didn't make it out, and her loss was reported by u/fugueink in the July 8 list update.
