Peter was a 5-day-old male puppy who arrived at BARC Houston on June 28, 2026, with his mother Ave Maria and four littermates after being found under the steps of a church. Five people offered $140 in pledges to help the family. Peter lost his life at BARC, and his loss was reported by u/fugueink in the July 2 list update.
