Ricardo Pepi, an 8-year-old Staffordshire mix, didn't make it out of BARC in Houston. Staff described him as a friendly, affectionate senior who greeted people with a wagging tail, gently accepted treats, and quietly rested on his bed. Three people tried to help, pledging $225 in support. His loss was reported by u/fugueink in the BARC 6/29 List Update.
