Donna, a one-year-old Staffordshire mix, was trying her best to cope with the stress of the shelter, but the crowded environment overwhelmed her young spirit. Shelter staff saw her sweet side come through when she was given gentle handling and treats. Three people who tried to help pledged $35 toward her rescue.
