Jasper, a 4-year-old Akita mix, was a stray at BARC in Houston who quietly watched the world from his cot with soft eyes and a low wagging tail. Networkers described him as calm, affectionate, sweet, and relaxed — a handsome boy who loved attention. Six people pledged $130 to help him find safety, but Jasper didn't make it out. His loss was reported by u/fugueink in the June 26 BARC list update.
