Bruce, a one-year-old Staffie mix, lost his life at BARC in Houston. Networkers described him as a terrified young dog who arrived through a euthanasia request and shut down in the shelter, yet still approached his kennel door hoping to come out. Ten people tried to help, pledging $300 in support. His loss was reported by u/fugueink in the June 23 BARC List Update.
