Karol, a 4-year-old German Shepherd Mix, was found as a stray in Houston and arrived at BARC stressed and anxious. Networkers described him as a friendly, good boy who needed a plan to escape the euthanasia list. Four people pledged $75 to help him, but he didn't make it out. Karol lost his life at BARC, reported by u/fugueink on June 23.
