Rosie, a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix, arrived at BARC in Houston with her puppies and was described by shelter staff as a gentle, affectionate young mother who slowly learned to trust those around her. Five people who tried to help pledged $85 toward her rescue, but she didn't make it out. Her loss was reported by u/fugueink in the BARC 6/18 List Update.
