Mac, a 14-year-old Staffordshire mix, was a low-energy, gentle boy who walked perfectly on a leash and was described by volunteers as very chill. He was confiscated and brought to BARC in Houston, where three people pledged $100 to help him find safety. Mac lost his life at BARC on May 6, 2026, and was remembered by u/fugueink in the BARC 5/6 List Update.
