Luna, a 5-year-old Staffordshire mix, was confiscated by police and arrived at BARC Shelter in Houston terrified and frozen with fear. Fourteen people tried to help her, pledging $500 in hopes of seeing her to safety. She didn't make it out, and her loss was reported by u/fugueink in the May 6 BARC list update.
