Spike, a 6-year-old Labrador Retriever mix, was a stray who arrived at BARC in Houston and lost his life there on May 5. Shelter notes described him walking calmly on a loose leash with a relaxed body. Four people pledged $185 to try to help him. His loss was reported by u/fugueink in the BARC 5/5 List Update.
