Baxter was a 3-year-old Staffordshire mix who came to BARC in Houston after a welfare check. Networkers described him as a shy, sweet boy who was a nice walker, clean in his kennel, and responded to baby talk. Two people offered $55 in pledges to help him find safety. He didn't make it out, and his loss was reported by u/fugueink in the BARC 5/5 list update.
