Christy, a 3-year-old Basenji mix, was found abandoned on a porch and brought to BARC Houston. Networkers described her as a playful, loving girl. Four people who tried to help pledged $335 toward her rescue. She lost her life at BARC on April 25, 2026, and her passing was reported by u/fugueink in the BARC list update.
